Brandi Rhodes will be headed to TNA Impact Wrestling some time in the near future, having signed a deal as of Friday, according to TMZ Sports.

Rhodes is the wife of ex-WWE wrestler Cody Rhodes, and the daughter-in-law of pro wrestling legend Dusty Rhodes, Cody’s father.

This will be Rhodes first job as a wrestler for a promotion.

She previously worked as a ring announcer for WWE under the stage name of Eden Stiles.

However, in May, both her and her husband parted ways with WWE following Cody’s dissatisfaction with where his career had ended up and the lack of opportunities he was getting creatively.

Since then, Cody has been performing on the indie wrestling scene.

He has performed for such promotions as EVOLVE and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and Brandi has accompanied him and been in his corner as well as serving as his personal ring announcer.

Now though, Rhodes will be a performer in the squared circle herself, reportedly joining TNA’s Knockouts division — TNA’s women’s division.

It has not yet been announced when Rhodes will make her debut for the promotion.

She will join the likes of fellow ex-WWE women’s wrestlers Gail Kim and Maria Kanellis-Bennett on the TNA Knockouts roster.

Cody is also expected to be performing under the TNA banner in the near future, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, though Cody will reportedly not be signing an official contract with the promotion.

He is going to be featured in Ring of Honor, though likely without Brandi alongside him as usual given her recent signing with TNA.
