WWE’s Jamie Noble is currently hospitalized after being stabbed twice in a trailer park in New Jersey. Pro Wrestling Sheet was the first to report the news.
Mercer County Sheriff’s officials tell Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet that Noble was making his way home in the early morning after working a WWE event. Upon making it back to the mobile home park, Noble was allegedly confronted by a man who accused Noble of cutting him off on the road. Officers say Noble apologized for the incident, but things escalated once the argument ensued.
According to the officers, two other men got out of the suspect’s vehicle once things got physical. At least one of the men who escaped the vehicle allegedly stabbed Noble, who was punctured in the upper back and mid-back area near his spine. The suspects then fled the scene.
Noble was treated by EMS before being taken to a nearby emergency room. He’s reportedly no longer in the ER and his condition isn’t entirely certain.
Satin reports WWE is aware of the situation.
A veteran with WCW, NJPW and WWE, Noble currently works as a producer under the World Wrestling Entertainment banner.
He’s been at least semi-retired since November 2009, following a nasty spill that resulted in a severe back injury on Monday Night Raw. Noble was last seen on WWE TV in March, breaking up a fight between Roman Reigns and Triple H on Raw.
