Damien Sandow has reportedly found a home for his talents as a professional wrestler, appearing to have inked a deal with TNA.
Though Sandow’s deal with TNA has yet to be formally announced, Sandow – whose real name is Aaron Steven Haddad – took to social media to drop a relatively big hint on what may be next for him. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet says he’s confirmed the news of Sandow’s deal with TNA.

The former WWE Superstar reportedly heads to Impact Wrestling just three months after being released from World Wrestling Entertainment in early May. It was a peculiar decision in the eyes of many, considering how popular Sandow had become during his run with the top wrestling promotion. He was one of several names – including Wade Barrett, Santino Marella, Cameron, Hornswoggle, Alex Riley and Zeb Colter – released on May 6.
Sandow enjoyed a majority of his success in his return to WWE in 2012, about a decade after his initial contract with the company.
“I had some conversations with them before, where I had said that I think, as a character, we had gone through the gamut,” he told Rolling Stone (h/t Wrestling Inc). “What more could I do with that character? Some people say, ‘This company should have done this, or that.’ No, the company gave me a platform, and I maximized my opportunity. That’s all I can ask for.”
The 34-year-old Massachusetts native is poised to become the latest former WWE Superstar to move into the TNA world, joining the likes of Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Bobby Lashley and countless others on the Dixie Carter-run show.
