According to a report from TMZ Sports and Pro Wrestling Sheet on Thursday afternoon, WWE superstar Eva Marie has been suspended by the company for violating the organization’s wellness policy. Also a star of the hit television show “Total Divas,” it remains to be seen as to what exactly Eva Marie did to violate the WWE’s wellness policy.

It is also worth noting that she is not the only member of the women’s division and “Total Divas” to violate the WWE’s wellness policy as she will now join Paige on the sideline. Additionally, Romans Reigns and most recently Alberto Del Rio were flagged by the WWE for violating the same regulation.

However, it is often difficult to detect the specific nature of these type of violations as the WWE’s wellness policy covers a wide variety of stipulations such as both drug and performance-enhancing drug use.

The 31-year-old Eva Marie was notably drafted to become a part of the SmackDown Live roster upon WWE instituting yet another brand split back on July 19. In doing so, she received a gimmick revolving around being introduced to wrestle while then encountering setbacks that prevented her from doing so. Included in the now presumably brief gimmick, that has also featured Becky Lynch and Naomi along the way, Eva Marie injured herself, suffered a wardrobe malfunction and interrupted numerous matches after attempting to return to the ring.

Prior to becoming more involved in the aforementioned SmackDown Live storyline, Eva Marie served a stint in the WWE’s developmental sector, NXT, as well.
